Jamuna Tudu - The Lady Tarzan of Jharkhand

Internationally acclaimed Photographer and Filmmaker Mr.Vajranabh Natraj Maharshi’s fourth coming exhibition is coming soon, which will be based on the life of Indian environmental activist Padma shri Jamuna Tudu called ‘ #LadyTarzan ‘ of Jharkhand. Today its official poster has been launched in Hyderabad by The Union Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Development of North Eastern Region Mr.G. Kishan Reddy and the official Trailer has been launched by Arjun Munda, the Central Union Minister for Tribal Welfare. Padma Sree ” #JamunaTudu” is the relative of our President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji .15 years ago she along with five other women started a mission to prevent the illegal felling of trees near her village Chakulia and this later expanded into an organization with 3,000 people. She is called ‘Lady Tarzan’ for taking on the Timber mafias and Naxals in Jharkhand. She is also the founder of “Van Suraksha Samiti” which prevent the illegal felling of trees near her village in Jharkhand. She was able to save 50 hectares of forest. This photo exhibition is starting from 23rd June – 29th June 2023 at AIFACS Gallery (All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society), New Delhi in association with Dhanvika Talkies In collaboration with RK Film Productions, several Central Ministers will also attend this exhibition.
